Uniform Policy & Purchase Info — North Hollywood Christian Academy

We are pleased to announce that North Hollywood Christian Academy has chosen School Uniforms by Tommy Hilfiger as your uniform partner for the upcoming school year.

All uniform items must be from Tommy Hilfiger.

Exceptions

Equivalent solid navy polo shirts, shorts, and pants may be purchased from other sources. No cargo shorts or pants are permitted. Polo shirts in white, gray, or navy that duplicate those available from Tommy Hilfiger may also be purchased elsewhere.

Solid blue skirts and skorts may be purchased at Tommy Hilfiger or department stores. Name brands should not be visible and the acceptability of these items of clothing will be at the discretion of the faculty Dress Code Committee. Plaid skirts or skorts may only be purchased from Tommy Hilfiger.

Shirts

Polo shirts with or without the North Hollywood Christian logo are permitted for the regular school day. All shirts must be correctly sized and tucked into pants, shorts, or skirts at all times.

Students may wear North Hollywood Christian activities or booster-wear t-shirts on Fridays.

Pants/Shorts/Skirts/Skorts

Pants/Shorts/Skirts/Skorts must be appropriately sized (no baggy or oversized items) and must be fitted at the waist. Only plaid skirts, skorts, and jumpers from Tommy Hilfiger are permitted. Solid navy blue skirts, skorts, and jumpers from department stores are permitted. These items must be no shorter than 3 inches above the knees. Shorts must be above the knee. Shorts may be worn under skirts as long as they are not visible below the skirt hem.

Outerwear

Only jackets, coats, and sweaters from Tommy Hilfiger may be worn. Sweatshirts must be from Tommy Hilfiger or have the North Hollywood Christian logo. Raincoats from outside sources are acceptable during rainy weather.

Shoes & Socks

Shoes must be in good condition, properly tied, and be the correct size. Sandals are not permitted. Boots are acceptable as long as heels and soles are of a moderate and safe height. Socks are required at all times. Socks may be of any color but must not go above the knee. Girls may wear tights and leggings in a solid color with the discretion of the Dress Code Committee.
